When in Wimbledon

Wimbledon. Wow.
You opened my eyes to a whole new sporting experience. Waking up at 3 am to the sleepy London city just to prepare for hours of queeing (waiting in line). As I saw hundreds of fellow sporting fans still sleeping in their tents, chairs and sleeping bags I enjoyed long talks with my fellow classmates. All 23 of us waited in the queues and discussed our future careers, goals and ideas. The sun was slowly started to peak through the trees and we watched as people mingled, read the paper and prepared themselves for the long day ahead. We finally approached the gates and seeing that view was something unreal. The flowers, the greenery and the land itself. We got our Pimms and we're ready to share in the experience on Murray Ground. As we finally made our way to court 18 to cheer on our fellow American, Sam Querrey, I soon realized tennis is not for the stereotypical rambunctious sport fan. But luckily, my fellow fans soon taught me the rules real quick. I genuinely appreciate the customer service and comradradery Wimbledon showed me from as soon as we walked into he gates. Definitely a sense of change for some sports within American.
