Winter break was one for the books; it took be about 3 weeks after the Gasparilla Bowl and the National Championship to get myself back to reality. I still don't think I'm there yet!
This semester I decided that I wanted to focus on my classes and get out of Tallahassee. So I'm hoping to graduate early next Fall 2018. That means 18 credits this semester, 9 credits and an internship for summer, then 15 credits for fall.... My friends say I'm crazy, I know its just passion. Im not exactly ready to start my career, but I'm ready for a new path. Yes, I love the sports management program, SMSA and the people I'm surrounded by. However, I don't want to be stagnant in this industry. A close friend I was having lunch with asked me "Kali, why aren't you doing nutrition?" It dawned on m that I gave up my 1st passions at the start of my college career. I had the mindset of nutrition from the get and now that I'm in sports I couldn't want it more. Im not loving the marketing department and I just feel behind in so many different ways. This week I'm dedicating to learning more about what I can do for my masters.
I need to focus more on my writing because it relaxes me and keeps me sane. I just told myself I don't have time for it, but I need to make time for something I'm passionate about.
